Some WIP

This is something I've been working on for some time now. Im doing it bit by bit. For too long I think:) But lately time is not on my side, so I draw as much as I can. I hope to finish this "beast" till christmas. It is The Chamber of Mazarbul. The final resting place of Balin son of Fundin, lord of Moria, for a short period of 5 years I think. It's a bit of a movie/book mash-up of characters. Some inspired by the book, some by the movie and some by my subconscious thought of how they should look :P

Here we have a short story in the making :D Vikings, sea monsters and viking heroes. It is also, as the work above, moving slowly to the finishing line. NEEED MORE TIME!!!

Ever since I started to make these warm up's I've noticed what a huge amount of fun I'm having while drawing them. Even more then I've expected. So an idea sprung in my head. I should do a litlle short story in this style, if I can call it that. Just as an experiment... Maybe a little tighter line work but still, something in this fashion.

And as always, the things I have learned in the past, slip my mind. Important things. Like the lesson of experimenting. Always try something new, different. And I did not see this fact. Even though it was in front of my face.
